California has a new requirement called "Workplace Know Your Rights Act". California employers must allow employees to designate an emergency contact to be notified if the worker is arrested or detained at work (or offsite during work hours). To comply, we must give employees the option to name an emergency contact and indicate whether to notify them in case of an arrest or detention. Employees are currently able to update their emergency contacts in mySparkrock. Is it possible to add a checkbox for authorizing notification in case of arrest?
Ideally if there was a checkbox or a dropdown field next to emergency contact stating something like "I authorize to notify this contact in the event of my arrest, detention, or law enforcement interaction".
