Support Entra sign-in with email as alternate login ID in mySparkrock

We have changed our domain, and our users have two different valid logins for their accounts via Entra ID's 'Email as an alternate login ID' feature.  The prefix for both login IDs are the same on both accounts, but the suffixes are different.  Both authenticate correctly with Entra ID.  Authentication email in mySparkrock is configured as prefix@UPN_suffix for all users.

If our user signs into mySparkrock with prefix@alternate_suffix instead of the prefix@UPN_suffix, mySparkrock cannot associate the Entra ID login with the mySparkrock user, and gets a user not found error.

Would it be possible to make alternate login ID from Entra ID work with mySparkrock?

We also use the proxy address as an allowed sign in for our users as they have different email and UPN. It has randomly been a problem for our users since Employee Center in NAV 2016 (same code base as mySparkrock new lipstick). Although this is a preview feature it has worked for most of our enterprise apps except Employee Center, mySparkrock and one other vendor. I suspect the authentication library being used against Entra ID is out of date. please review.
